Carpathia Private Tours SRL provides private guided tour services in Romania as described on carpathia.tours. Our tours are private — no group bookings, no fixed departure dates. Every tour is designed and delivered specifically for the client who booked it.
A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of €100 per person. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the tour start date, or as agreed in writing at the time of booking. All prices are in euros and include VAT.
Cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour start date: full refund of the deposit, minus banking fees. Cancellations made 15–30 days before: 50% of the tour price. Cancellations made less than 15 days before: no refund. These terms do not apply to tours booked through third-party platforms, which operate under their own cancellation policies.
Carpathia acts as an intermediary for bookings made through GetYourGuide, Viator, and Airbnb Experiences. For bookings made directly with Carpathia, our liability is limited to the total tour fee paid. We are not liable for loss, injury, or damage arising from force majeure, third-party services, or events outside our reasonable control.
Travellers are responsible for ensuring they hold valid travel documentation (passport, visas if applicable) and appropriate travel insurance. Travellers participate in all tour activities at their own risk, and must inform their guide of any health conditions or restrictions relevant to the itinerary.
Carpathia reserves the right to modify an itinerary if circumstances require it (weather, safety, closures). We will always propose alternatives of equivalent or greater quality. We are not liable for minor variations in itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control.
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved directly between the parties will be referred to the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania.
